Hi! I am the owner and operator of The Mixing Bar, my custom in-home bakery.

From a young age, I found joy in baking cakes, and that early passion blossomed into a career-focused love. It became clear that this was my calling and passion, and I chose to pursue it academically as well. I graduated from Sullivan University in 2015 with an Associates Degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. During my final quarter of school, I landed an internship at a local bakery. It was a defining experience, allowing me to work my way up to become the owner's right-hand gal and manager. I learned invaluable skills that shaped my approach to baking and specifically loving to make wedding cakes. Unfortunately, the bakery where I learned my skills was closing its doors. While working at another local business, I envisioned taking my creativity to new heights, and that's when The Mixing Bar came to life. Each order I create is infused with dedication and passion. I take immense pride in being part of so many special moments in people's lives.
